Photobooth Terms and Conditions
Payment Terms
Deposit
​A 50% non-refundable deposit of $[AMOUNT] is required to secure your booking. This deposit is due within three (3) days from the date of this confirmation. This deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances, including cancellations or no-shows.
Balance
The remaining 50% balance of $[AMOUNT] is due no later than seven (7) days prior to the event date.
Payment Methods Accepted
Payments can be made via Venmo.
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
​​Cancellation 7+ Days Before the Event
If you cancel your booking at least seven (7) days before the event, the remaining 50% of your payment will not be due.

Cancellation Less Than three (3) Days Before the Event
If you cancel within three (3) days
of the event, your 50% deposit is forfeited, and the remaining balance is also immediately due, if not already paid.
​
Refund of the Remaining Balance (after deposit)
If client cancels seven (7) or more days before the event, the remaining balance will no longer be charged, but the deposit
is non-refundable.
Example:
​Total booking: $1,000
50% deposit: $500 (non-refundable)
Balance due: $500
Client cancels 10 days before the event: The client would receive the $500 balance refund, but they would not get back the $500 deposit.

Deposit Forfeiture (for cancellations less than 3 days)
If a client cancels less than three (3) days before the event, the 50% deposit is
forfeited and the remaining balance is also immediately due, if not yet paid.
This is because by that point, The Snap Emporium has already prepared and reserved everything for your event, and you have caused hardship on our scheduling with short notice.

Example:
Client cancels three (3) days before the event: They forfeit the $500 deposit and must pay
the remaining balance of $500.
Rescheduling Policy
If you need to reschedule your event, please notify us at least fourteen (14) days before the event.
Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur an additional fee of $100 if the new date requires us to adjust our schedule.
Service Terms
Setup & Breakdown
Our photobooth setup requires approximately one (1) hour for setup and one (1) hour for breakdown.
Photobooth Availability
The photobooth will be available for use from [Start Time] to [End Time] on the event date.
Additional Time
If additional time is required, please notify us in advance. An additional fee of $100 per hour will apply for extended service hours.
Late Fees
Late Fees
A 25% late fee of the total balance will be applied to any payments not
received by the due date. This late fee will be assessed at an additional 5% on the outstanding
balance each week until the payment is received.
Limitation of Liability
Maximum Liability
The Company’s maximum liability for any breach of this agreement or any action related to the services provided will be limited to the total amount paid by the Client for the event.

Indirect Damages
The Snap Emporium is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, profit, or reputation.
The Snap Emporium will not be held liable for any potential injuries or damages that involve our equipment or staff.

Force Majeure
The Company is not responsible for failure to perform due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, strikes, or government restrictions.
Additional Terms and Conditions
Liability and Damages
Client agrees to take responsibility for any damage to the photobooth, props, or equipment caused by guests or other individuals at the event. In case of damage, the client will be liable for the cost of repair or replacement.
Use of Photobooth Images
By using the photobooth, the client grants permission for The Snap Emporium to use images taken during the event for promotional purposes, unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.
This agreement is also binding on guests of the event, which the client assumes responsibility for their guests.
Right to Refuse or Terminate Services
The Snap Emporium is contracted as a photo booth company, and we take pride in our services and equipment. However, we will not tolerate any rude or aggressive misconduct towards our staff or equipment. If at any point, a guest at the event is abrasive, rude, or violent, we reserve the right to refuse services and terminate the contract. Should this occur, the client is still liable for all costs as agreed upon including any damages to our equipment or injuries to our staff.
Compliance with California Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from this contract will be handled according to the legal requirements in California.
Candy and Gumball Machines
Terms and Conditions
By using the candy and gumball machines (the "Machines") operated by The Snap Emporium, you (the "User") agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms govern the use of the Machines and apply to all users. Please read them carefully before purchasing or interacting with the Machines.

General Terms
a) The Machines are designed to provide users with candy, gumballs, or other small novelty items (the "Products").
b) The Machines are available for use only in the locations designated by The Snap Emporium.
c) The purchase of Products from the Machines is subject to availability. The Snap Emporium reserves the right to modify or discontinue the availability of certain products at any time without notice.
d) All transactions made through the Machines are final. No returns, exchanges, or refunds will be granted unless required by law.
Age Restrictions
a) Users under the age of 18 should have parental or guardian supervision when interacting with the Machines.
b) The Machines may contain products that are not suitable for all ages. It is the responsibility of the User or Guardian to ensure that the Products are appropriate for the intended user.
Payment
a) All transactions are made by inserting coins or bills into the Machine, or using other forms of payment where applicable.
b) Payments made are non-refundable unless required by applicable law, and the User is responsible for ensuring the correct amount is inserted.
c) The Machines are not responsible for errors in payment or malfunctioning equipment. In case of malfunction, users should follow the procedures outlined in Section 6.
Product Availability
a) The Snap Emporium makes no guarantee regarding the availability of specific Products, as availability may vary depending on the location and the inventory of the Machines.
b) All Products offered by the Machines are sold "as-is" and may vary in appearance, flavor, or size. The Snap Emporium is not responsible for any variance or defect.
Malfunction and Refund Process
a) In case of a malfunction or failure to dispense the Product after a valid payment has been made, users should immediately contact the customer service number provided on the Machine or via the website.
b) Refund requests due to malfunction must be submitted within seven (7)from the time of the transaction. Refunds may be issued at the sole discretion of The Snap Emporium.
c) The Snap Emporium is not responsible for any lost or stolen products or items purchased from the Machines.

User Responsibilities
a) Users are required to use the Machines in a safe and responsible manner.
b) The Machines must not be tampered with or abused. Any attempt to tamper with or damage the Machines may result in legal action.
c) Users must immediately report any issues with the Machines, including damage, misuse, or unsafe conditions, to The Snap Emporium through the provided contact details.
Limitation of Liability
a) The Snap Emporium is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Machines, including but not limited to damages for lost profits or personal injury.
b) The total liability of The Snap Emporium for any claim arising from these Terms and Conditions will be limited to the purchase price of the Products obtained from the Machines.
Compliance with Laws
a) These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California.
b) The Snap Emporium operates the Machines in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, including those related to consumer protection, product safety, and privacy.
c) If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable under California law, the remainder of these Terms and Conditions will remain in full effect.
Privacy Policy
a) The Snap Emporium may collect limited personal data for the purpose of processing refunds or customer service inquiries. All collected data will be handled in accordance with The Snap Emporium's Privacy Policy, which is available upon request or on our website.
b) No sensitive or personal data is collected during standard interactions with the Machines unless explicitly required for a refund or service issue.
Amendments
a) The Snap Emporium reserves the right to update, modify, or change these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
b) Any changes will be posted on the relevant website and will apply immediately upon publication. Continued use of the Machines after such changes constitutes the User's acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions.
